A small family business in the Barri Vell

Little Home is a small family business from Girona. Eight years ago, in 2018, we opened our first holiday apartments in the Barri Vell with a simple idea: fully equipped, spotless apartments with the level of care we'd want to find ourselves when travelling.

We're not a chain, and we're not a third-party manager. All 8 apartments are in the same building at Pujada Rei Martí 8, and we run them ourselves.

Keep your bike inside the apartment itself. We're in Girona's Barri Vell, with quick access to the region's classic rides: Els Àngels, Rocacorba and Sant Grau. Every apartment has lift access, so the bike comes up with you with no hassle.

We have 2 two-bedroom apartments with a double bed and a double sofa bed, set up for families of up to 4. The other 6 are ideal for couples or solo travellers. The building has a lift and there are parking deals around 50 metres away.

§ 06 · Your Barri Vell

Your Barri Vell

Pujada Rei Martí 8 sits in the heart of Girona's Barri Vell (Old Town), in a quarter of traffic-free stone streets, 1 minute on foot from Girona Cathedral and around 5 minutes from the main dining areas: Carrer de la Força, La Rambla and Independence Square. That's where you'll find the terraces, taverns and restaurants that have turned Girona into one of Catalonia's great food destinations: the city is home to the 3-Michelin-star El Celler de Can Roca, and several other starred restaurants are within walking distance.

A few minutes from the apartments you've got the Arab Baths, the Jewish Quarter, the Basílica de Sant Feliu and the City Walls Walk, with open views across the city and the Gavarres hills. Cross the river Onyar via the Eiffel Bridge and you get the classic Girona shot: the colourful houses lined up along the riverbank.

For cycling guests, Pujada Rei Martí is a solid starting point: Girona's classic rides — Els Àngels, Rocacorba and Sant Grau — start just minutes from the building.

§ 08 · How to get here

Getting to Little Home Girona

Little Home Girona is at Pujada Rei Martí 8, in the Barri Vell, a 20-minute walk from Girona's train and bus station.

I. By plane

Barcelona-El Prat Airport: Rodalies commuter train or Aerobús shuttle to Barcelona-Sants station, then direct AVE high-speed train to Girona (around 40 minutes). From Girona station to the Barri Vell, 20 minutes on foot.

Girona-Costa Brava Airport: taxi direct to the Barri Vell, approx. €35.

II. By train or coach

The train station and the coach station share one building in Girona, a 20-minute walk from the apartments. If you'd rather not walk, any taxi from the station drops you at Pujada Rei Martí in a few minutes.

III. By car

Take the Girona Oest exit off the AP-7 motorway. We have deals with car parks around 50 metres from the building. Message us on WhatsApp with your booking dates and we'll confirm availability and price.

Check-in at Little Home Girona is self-service with an access code. No one needs to meet you: we send the code the day before by WhatsApp or Booking, and you can walk in whenever it suits you, any time from 3pm.
Check-out is by 11:00. If you need to leave your bags in the apartment for a few hours while we prepare it for the next guests, let us know on WhatsApp and we'll work it out.
Yes, fully allowed. The building has a lift to every floor, so you can take the bike up without carrying it up any stairs.
We have a deal with a car park near the Barri Vell, around 50 metres from the building. Message us on WhatsApp with your booking dates and we'll confirm availability and price.
Yes. The surroundings are quiet, the Barri Vell is pedestrian-only, the building has a lift, and the 2-bedroom apartments have a comfortable layout for children. If you need a cot or high chair, message us on WhatsApp ahead of time and we'll try to arrange it.
We can't accept pets in the apartments, and it's not because we don't like them. Some guests are allergic to pet hair, and no cleaning process fully removes it. We'd rather guarantee that every guest walks into a clean apartment without that risk.
In every Little Home Girona apartment you'll find the Wi-Fi details clearly displayed at the entrance, with a QR code and password. If you have any trouble connecting, message us on WhatsApp.
No. All Little Home Girona apartments are 100% non-smoking. That includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vapes. For smoking you need to step outside.
For direct bookings made on the Little Home Girona website, cancellation is 100% refundable if done up to 7 days before check-in (end of day). After that point, the booking is non-refundable. For bookings made on Booking or Airbnb, the conditions you accepted at booking time apply. Any questions, message us on WhatsApp.
