These conditions govern both the use of the littlehomegirona.com website and the booking conditions for the holiday apartments managed by Little Home Girona Apartments SL.
1. General conditions of use of the website
The user agrees to make diligent use of the site and not to use it to:
- Carry out unlawful activities, contrary to good faith or to public order.
- Disseminate racist, xenophobic or pornographic content, or content inciting violence or discrimination.
- Cause damage to the IT systems of the owner, its providers or third parties.
- Introduce viruses, malicious code or any other element capable of causing damage.
- Reproduce, copy, distribute or modify site content without the express authorisation of the owner.
2. Direct booking conditions
Bookings made directly from the littlehomegirona.com website, through the Rentlio booking system, are governed by the conditions detailed below.
2.1 Booking process
- The user selects dates and number of guests in the booking system.
- The system shows available apartments and total price (VAT included).
- The user completes personal and payment details.
- The booking is confirmed by email once payment is processed.
The booking is nominative and made in the name of the person listed as the booking holder, who must be of legal age.
2.2 Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (€) with all taxes included. Payment is made at the time of booking using the methods accepted by the Rentlio system (credit/debit card).
The price includes: night/s of stay, final cleaning, bed linen and towels, Wi-Fi and utilities (water, electricity, gas) under normal use conditions.
The price does not include: the tourist tax of the Generalitat de Catalunya, charged separately at check-in according to current rates.
2.3 Cancellation policy
- Cancellation up to 7 days before check-in (end of day): 100% refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation within 7 days of check-in: the booking is non-refundable.
- No-show: non-refundable.
To cancel a direct booking, message us on WhatsApp at +34 610 994 407 or write to info@littlehomegirona.com with the booking number. We will confirm the cancellation and, if applicable, process the refund within a maximum of 14 working days.
Bookings on Booking or Airbnb: the cancellation conditions you accepted when booking on the platform apply. Each platform manages its own cancellations and refunds.
2.4 Booking modifications
Date or apartment modifications are subject to availability. Write to us as far in advance as possible and we will try to find the best solution. If the modification involves a rate change, the difference will be settled.
2.5 Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: self-service with access code, from 15:00. We send the code the day before by WhatsApp or email.
- Check-out: by 11:00.
- Luggage storage: on request, coordinated by WhatsApp.
- Late check-in / early check-out: please check availability in advance.
3. Apartment rules
- Non-smoking: all apartments are 100% non-smoking. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vapes. Non-compliance entails a €250 penalty for additional cleaning.
- Pets: pets are not allowed in the apartments.
- Parties and noise: parties or gatherings with external visitors are not allowed. Neighbours' rest must be respected, especially between 22:00 and 8:00.
- Maximum capacity: the number of guests cannot exceed the capacity stated in the booking. The presence of additional guests not previously communicated may result in termination of the booking without refund.
- Police register: as a holiday apartment, we are required to register guest data in the corresponding police database. We will send you a link to fill in the official form the day before check-in.
- Bicycles: can be stored inside the apartment. The building has a lift.
4. Guest responsibility
The guest is responsible for the apartment during their stay. Any damage caused by improper use (furniture, appliances, walls, etc.) will be invoiced at the cost of repair or replacement.
The guest is responsible for:
- Properly closing the apartment door when leaving.
- Not sharing the access code with third parties not registered in the booking.
- Reporting incidents (breakdowns, damage, Wi-Fi problems) as soon as possible by WhatsApp.
5. Optional services coordinated with third parties
On request, we coordinate the following services with trusted providers:
- Luggage storage: for leaving bags before check-in or after check-out.
- Airport transfer: with a local provider, from Barcelona-El Prat or Girona-Costa Brava.
- In-apartment catering: with a Barri Vell restaurant.
These services are provided directly by the corresponding provider, who invoices and is liable to the guest. Little Home Girona acts only as a coordination intermediary.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Little Home Girona Apartments SL is not liable for:
- Loss, theft or damage of personal items inside the apartment.
- Occasional supply interruptions (water, electricity, gas, internet) due to causes beyond its control.
- External noise or disturbances (public works, local festivals, nearby churches, etc.) inherent to the location in the Barri Vell.
- Conduct of third-party providers (transfers, catering, luggage storage).
7. Complaints
The guest may submit complaints in writing to info@littlehomegirona.com. We have official complaint forms available to guests, in accordance with Catalan consumer regulations.
The guest may also resort to extrajudicial dispute resolution channels (consumer mediation or arbitration) or contact the competent consumer authorities.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Girona, waiving any other jurisdiction, except where consumer protection regulations establish a specific jurisdiction.
9. Modifications
These conditions may be updated to adapt to regulatory or operational changes. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the conditions in force at the time of booking.
