Little Home Girona is a small family business, but to provide a complete service we rely on a number of external platforms and providers. This page lists all the third parties we work with, so you know who is behind each part of the service.
1. Booking platforms
Direct booking — Rentlio
The direct booking system we offer on the website is Rentlio, a Croatian platform specialising in holiday apartment booking management. When you book directly, your payments are processed through Rentlio.
Booking.com
We list our apartments on Booking.com. If you book through this platform, the conditions, payment and cancellation are governed by Booking's rules.
Airbnb
We have been an Airbnb Superhost since 2019, without interruption. If you book through our Airbnb profile, Airbnb's conditions apply.
2. Technical and operational tools
Hostinger
The littlehomegirona.com website is hosted on Hostinger, a hosting provider with servers in Europe.
Holded
For accounting, tax and invoicing management we use Holded, a Spanish business management platform.
Akiles
The smart locks that enable self check-in with access code are by Akiles, a Spanish access control technology company.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps to show the apartment location and help you get there.
WhatsApp Business
Direct guest service is provided through WhatsApp Business (Meta), the channel preferred by most of our guests for its immediacy.
3. Services coordinated on request
On request, we coordinate these services with trusted local providers. Each service is provided directly by the provider, who invoices and is liable to the guest:
- Luggage storage: local Barri Vell provider.
- Airport transfer: local transport provider, from Barcelona-El Prat or Girona-Costa Brava.
- In-apartment catering: Barri Vell restaurant.
- Parking: we have a deal with a car park around 50 metres from the building.
Specific names and contacts of each provider are shared with the guest at the time of coordinating the service.
4. Human team
Although we are a family business, we rely on a small operational team that makes it possible:
- Direction and strategy: Francesc Riera (CEO and co-founder).
- Daily operations: Teresa and Jaume.
- Cleaning team: Lorena, Numa and Svetlana.
5. Typefaces and website licences
- Fraunces (display typeface) — Open Font License, distributed by Google Fonts.
- Inter (text typeface) — Open Font License, distributed by Google Fonts.
6. Photography
All apartment photographs are property of Little Home Girona Apartments SL and may not be reproduced without express authorisation.
7. Website design and implementation
Website designed and implemented with vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No external frameworks.
